Blinking power light / grey screen — 72-pin connector fault
The classic NES fault: the power LED blinks and the game won't load, or you get a solid grey/blue screen. The 72-pin cartridge connector is worn or dirty. Clean the cartridge and console pins with IPA, and if it's badly worn, replace the 72-pin connector. Never blow into cartridges — moisture corrodes the contacts.
