PS4 Pro turns on then off straight away (beep, blue flash, shutdown)

Contributed by CircuitScope research team · Added 09 Oct 2026 · 1 views

A PS4 Pro that beeps, flashes blue for a second and shuts down, often refusing to restart until the mains lead is pulled, most often has a failing internal power supply. Swap in a known-good PSU with the same part number before suspecting the board. If a good PSU doesn't help, the fault is on the motherboard.
