About this component
The RP2040 executes code directly from this chip over its QSPI interface. Dragging a UF2 file onto the BOOTSEL drive writes to it. The BOOTSEL button works by holding this chip's chip-select line low at reset, so a damaged flash or a short on that line shows up as a Pico that always starts in bootloader mode. Part variants: Raspberry Pi's Pico datasheet names the W25Q16JV family only; the full ordering code and package were not confirmed.
