About this component
The CXD5315GG holds the CPU and GPU and, inside the same BGA package, the 512 MB of LPDDR2 and 128 MB of wide-I/O video memory. The CPU clock is variable (psdevwiki gives 111–500 MHz for normal operation). Because the memory is in-package, a 'RAM fault' on a Vita means replacing the whole SoC from a donor board. Part variants: CXD5315GG documented on the PCH-1000 main PCB (psdevwiki Components). PCH-2000 SoC part number not confirmed.
What it does on this board
Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 with a quad-core PowerVR SGX543MP4+ GPU.
