There are no separate RAM chips on the Vita board: the memory dies are stacked inside the CXD5315GG package. The 128 MB video RAM uses a very wide interface to the GPU for bandwidth at low power. Any memory fault therefore needs a full SoC replacement. Part variants: Two Samsung K4P2G324EC 2 Gb mobile DDR2 dies (512 MB) plus one Samsung 1 Gb die marked '1G-E-WIDE' (128 MB VRAM), all stacked inside the CXD5315GG package on PCH-1000. PCH-2000 not confirmed.
