About this component
The Legion Go uses the same Z1 Extreme APU as the ROG Ally: eight Zen 4 cores up to 5.1 GHz, 8 MB L2 and 16 MB L3, and a 12 CU RDNA 3 GPU. Its core power comes from an MPS MP2845B multiphase controller. The screen is driven through a Lontium LT7911UXC bridge rather than directly, so a no-picture fault may lie there rather than with the APU. It is soldered BGA. Part variants: Lenovo's PSREF also lists a Ryzen Z1 (6-core) option for the Legion Go 8APU1.
