The Ally X keeps the Z1 Extreme from the original Ally (8 Zen 4 cores up to 5.1 GHz, 12 CU RDNA 3 GPU, 9–30 W) but pairs it with faster, larger memory and revised cooling. Faster RAM benefits the integrated GPU most, as it shares system memory. It is soldered BGA on a mainboard that is not interchangeable with the original Ally's. Part variants: Same Z1 Extreme product ID as the original Ally; package marking on Ally X not confirmed by a teardown.
