The Saturn has two SH-2 CPUs sharing the same bus: the master runs the game and the slave is given work by the program, which made the console hard to code for. Both run at about 28.64 MHz with 4 KB of on-chip cache each and share 2 MB of work RAM (1 MB SDRAM + 1 MB DRAM). The HD6417095 is a Sega-specific member of Hitachi's SH7604 family, so there is no public datasheet for the exact part. Part variants: Two identical HD6417095 SH-2 chips (master and slave) on all main board revisions.
