About this component
Aerith is the semi-custom APU in the LCD Steam Deck, built on TSMC N7. It has four Zen 2 cores with SMT (2.4–3.5 GHz) and an 8 CU RDNA 2 GPU at up to 1.6 GHz, running in a 4–15 W power envelope, and talks to the LPDDR5 over four 32-bit channels. Its core rails come from an MPS MP2845 multiphase controller and MP86902B/MP86903C power stages, which are worth checking on a no-power board before blaming the APU. It is soldered BGA. Part variants: Package marking from iFixit's Steam Deck (LCD) chip ID.
