Samsung K4J52324QC-BC14
About this component
These GDDR3 chips are the 360's only main memory, shared by the CPU and GPU through the GPU's memory controller on a 128-bit bus at 700 MHz (1.4 GT/s effective). Each chip is 512 Mbit, so the 512 MB total comes from eight chips (front and back on early boards). They are BGA parts; a bad memory chip or joint usually shows up as graphical faults or a failure to boot rather than a clear error. When replacing one, use the same density and organisation as the original. Part variants: Samsung part seen in iFixit's launch-unit teardown. Wikipedia names Samsung or Qimonda as suppliers; later boards use other Samsung revisions or Qimonda/Hynix 512 Mbit GDDR3, not individually confirmed here.
512MB GDDR3 shared memory.
