About this component
This controller runs the built-in SSD, which is made of NAND chips soldered on both sides of the board. Because storage is soldered and tied to this controller and the console's keys, a failed NAND chip or controller cannot be fixed by swapping in an ordinary drive; the M.2 slot only adds extra storage.
